It’s certainly been a while since I’ve visited this place. The last month has flown by like I never could have imagined. Getting ready for a baby is not exactly an easy task. Actually, the mental part is far more daunting than you could ever imagine. The gaining weight part was easy. It was everything else that was so hard to handle.
But…like every other soon to be parents, we did manage to handle it.
We still are handling it (just with a lot of help from family…)
And here we are- with an 18 day old little boy that has totally rocked our world. From the moment I heard his first cry, I was in love. Didn’t even know that was possible…to love something/someone you’d never met. But it is. And it’s amazing.
Terrifying, but the most wonderful thing ever.
Some of you have seen pictures, his name…so forgive me for resharing all of this, but it’s kind of nice to be able to post it all here so that I can look back years to come and relive this little stuff.
So here he is. Our beautiful baby boy-

Your little peanut is absolutely precious. You are definitely in for a wild, mushy, BEAUTIFUL ride. Oh, and those deliciously junky white trash wednesday recipes are gonna come in super handy during these days where showering is a luxury, much less cooking big meals, so good thing you came back to YAWYEOR. Plus, we missed you. 🙂
becki- my husband asked me today if i’d given up on cooking dinners completely. i may just have to throw a little white trash meal his way. you know, just to be nice. 🙂

awwwwwwww!!! congrats! i got a little teary-eyed when i was reading this. it’s definitely a great way to chronicle a child’s life by posting it on blogs. sometimes i run into old blog posts and i see how much my niece & nephews have grown in just a year! congrats again! and hope to see more pictures very soon.
boogie- it’s so scary to see how much they change so quickly! and i will bore you guys with all the photos i’m going to share! sorry in advance.
